In 2017 our awesome volunteers made 200 gift bag deliveries and holiday in-home visits to brighten the lives of 100 isolated elders in central Brooklyn and the UWS. During Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, people of good will and from all walks of life showed our elderly neighbors they are remembered and valued.
In 2018 our Holiday gift basket program will kick off during our annual Easter homebound senior outreach on March 31st (10-1), followed by our annual Mother’s Day outreach on May 19th (10-1). If you aren’t available on any of those dates, please consider donating some articles for our annual Holiday gift basket deliveries. Unused clothing items, personal care items, and non-perishable food items are always welcome.
